Assist the FCM Staff during weekday hours with copying, filing, mailings, general office duties, and phone coverage. Office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Join a pleasant working environment with flexible scheduling.

Participate in planning or event day assistance for various FCM internal fundraising events such as the annual Community Builder Awards Dinner or Sweet Sensations, a cabaret evening of song and entertainment.

The FCM Leadership Council advises the executive directors and executive board of FCM on matters concerning organizational operations. The Council meets monthly from September to June, and some members occasionally meet outside regular council meetings as a part of sub-committee assignments. Council members possess a variety of special talents and expertise. Volunteers wishing to join are invited to apply for Council openings through the regular volunteer application process. Qualified applicants are then interviewed by the Council's Nominations Committee.

FCM has many facilities that allow us to provide the services necessary to meet the needs of those we serve. In order to provide quality facilities, they must be kept up to date through a series of planned captial improvements and routine maintenance. We need volunteers with specialty skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general carpentry. There are always captial improvement and maintenance projects that need attention, and volunteers who have a willingness to roll up their sleeeves and help are eagerly welcomed.

Many of FCM's ministries are staffed solely through volunteers. As such, additional volunteers willing to donate their time and energy to these tasks are strongly encouraged to get involved. Some of our most volunteer-intensive programs are listed below, with a link to a description of each ministry:

FCM uses Network For Good to facilitate it's online donation transactions. The service is designed specifically for non-profit organizations, and provides an easy, secure method for making a donation over the internet. After clicking on the link below, you will be brought to their site to complete the donation. Please be sure to complete the entire donor portion of the form and to include a copy of your gift receipt (if available). If you would like to designate the gift to a specific ministry, please indicate that on the form.

If you'd rather send your donation via traditional mail, you can send a check or money order to the address below. If you wish for your donation to be contributed to a specific ministry, please designate this on your check.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs for charitable contributions made to 501(c)(3) charities. Check with your company to find out whether they will match your contribution. If you have questions about your company's matching gift program, please contact your personnel representative. Request the appropriate form from your human resources office and send it with a copy of your gift receipt to the address above to have your place of employment match your gift dollar for dollar.
